Our easy- to -fly Bora is a soft, frameless parafoil that flies straight from your hand and stuffs into a tiny pouch so you can bring one

along on every adventure.  With a dramatic long tail that adds stability and presence in the sky, the Bora is easy to handle with no

frame parts to lose or break.  Just let the wind fill the canopy, unfurl the tail and let it soar into the sky.  The Bora 2 has an impressive

pull when the wind comes up.  Ready to fly with top-quality braided polyester flying line that resists tangles for long life, and an easy-to-use

hoop winder that makes winding and unwinding a breeze.    WE ARE NOW OUT OF JADE & BLAZE

I'm new to kite flying, and wanted something for strong winds. This one was lots of fun. I was worried it wouldn't like gusty winds, but it did just fine. I agree, gloves are a good idea in strong wind.

Easy to carry in a day pack, tough, strong well sewn Seams. Perfect in a wide wind range, Excels in high Stiff winds when Spared Kites would be grounded. Even lift some line laundry. Use Gloves in stiff breezes. 'The World needs More Kites.' :^{D

  • Very bright fun kites.

Prism never fails at craftsmanship, and these kites are proof. Very easy flyers, wind range has to be pretty steady to keep thin up. The fact that these kites come with braided Dacron line and reel is amazing. I actually ended up buying four of these kites , two of the blaze, one jade, and one frost. I highly recommend this kite for any one wanting a very fun and easy foil style kite to fly anywhere.

The Bora 7 is the kite I ALWAYS recommend as a first-time serious kite to passersby on my flying fields who express a serious interest to learn the joys & aerodynamics of kites far beyond the dime store paper kite variety. The Boras are all extremely portable, literally flies right out of its storage bag in a good wind range, & is stunning in the air as it contrasts incredibly against any sky condition, whether perfectly cloudless blue or overcast. No set-up required beyond opening the storage bag, shaking out the kite from its folds & attaching a leader and/or flying line. As a serious recreational flyer’s kite, the Boras are so affordable that they can easily be flown together in different colors & sizes by several flyers. Try getting your family or friends to fly a Bora 2, Bora 5 & Bora 7 in different color schemes & you will be hooked for life! The swimming tail movement is quite alive! On close inspection of the kite’s sail, you will see how durably well-constructed Prism makes these w/ really high-quality seam stitching, line-to-keel, as well as tail-to-trailing-edge attachment points. Having flown (2) Bora 7’s for nearly a year now (a Blaze version for me, a Jade version for my retired high school physics teacher bro.-in-law), I think this has got to be one the best Prism designs. See YouTube video of the Bora posted by my kite mentor & friend, Jim Nicholls, of New Zealand!
