Thunderbird Kite - 11.5 Ft. Rainbow Geometric

Just a affordable well made absolutely delightful kite to fly! I put some nice tails on it in various colors makes the kite seriously stable! works awesome!! Buy one you can't beat the price and it's very well made! just do it!

I have been looking for very a large Delta type “exotic bird” kite for both Day & Night flying and the Thunderbird kite is a magnificent sight to gaze upon when flying....it has already received a lot of nice comments. The size is truly amazing and you WILL BE Athe largest bird flying for miles around. For Night Flying I have added something called an “isis LED cape” (that dancers sometimes use in evening performances). The “cape” is a perfect fit and is easily attached to the frame. At dusk it creates a beautiful light show with a variety of light sequences (sure to get some UFO sightings!). If you are interested in making a kite to fly at night with LEDs you can go to YouTube and look for the “2021 how to put LEDs on a kite” video that explains how to make a LED night light kite. The ThunderBird handled well in 12-19 mph winds and at the higher wind speeds the wings actually “flap” a bit. The “Birds” color pattern is very striking during the day and quite unique. Of note...there are some other large bird kites out there in the same size range but they are 4 times more expensive. All in all, if you enjoy flying a kite at the beach then this is a great kite to bring along......at times I think adults are actually more attracted to it than the kids are. Definitely a keeper and if you are looking for a unique kite to fly then the Thunderbird fits the bill.
