Big kites with tails always look good, and here the 535" tails come ready attached. They ripple hypnotically as the big 13 ft kite sails smoothly through the air. Easy to fly, but has considerable pull when the wind gets up, so it needs care. The kite and tails combine to fill a lot of sky, and form a truly eye-catching display.

Rainbow in the sky
I saw the measurements of this kite and I knew it would be a big kite, but when I actually got it I was so excited this kite is a mammoth! Like Jim mentioned in his review, this kite is definitely not for kids, this kite pulls hard. I also use 250 pound line for this kite. Its majestic tails are hypnotizing in the wind. Love this kite!

Giant flowtail is good value
This kite and the Rainbow Arch sister-kite are great value if you want a big kite which will make a real impact on the flying-field. It is quite heavy (there's a lot of fabric in the kite and those big tails), but it still launches in quite light winds. It does have a lot of pull, so is definitely not a kite for children. You need to be sure that you have adequate line (250lb is what I use), and a strong anchor point if you are going to tie it down. It flies easily and steadily, so needs no special skill or experience.
