Beyond-Gorgeous Aerial Art / Absolutely Stunning!

My Rokkaku collection is based on both where I love to fly as well as on various special occasions throughout the year in the D.C./Baltimore Metro Area: a Rokkaku kite train w/ traditional Japanese graphics for the Cherry Blossom Festival time each spring, a giant eagle Rokkaku in scarlet and gold to fly during the annual October USMC Marathon, and, now, this huge Rainbow Ripple which I will reserve for Pride Day in both D.C. and Baltimore. I actually purchased this kite in celebration of the Federal Supreme Court's recent 2020 LGBQT decision. This kite is amazingly well-designed and sewn to last virtually forever!
Amazing applique! The carbon-wrapped spars w/ internal ferrules are very high-tech and made easy-to-handle due to their strength/flexibility characteristics. The smoothness of the spars and the smooth end caps make assembling easy and logical into super sturdy spar pockets. The colors of the sail, particularly on a sunny day, command the sky against any other kite flying nearby. I have flown this Rainbow Ripple w/ double 100-ft. transition tails and it attracts admirers to drive from the nearby interstate highway to my flying field to take photos and video. One really important note, however: I would not trust flying this wonderful kite w/ less than 300-lb. test braided line, esp. if under Beaufort Scale 4 wind conditions. This guy pulls pretty strongly even on the lower side of winds blowing. I would also NOT recommend for any flier under 18 yrs. of age or under 175 lbs. in bodyweight, lest one ends up on the other side of the country.
