A truly unique kiting experience awaits with our eye-catching new Flip Kite.

Based on a patent-pending design by Steve Wingert, the Flip's rotor spins its way through the atmosphere.

Like a kaleidoscope in motion, the vivid graphics blend and blur, creating colors and patterns that can only be seen while it spins.

Rotors are one of the eight basic kite forms, yet few have flown or even seen one. Rotors fly by spinning with the wind, achieving lift via the Magnus Effect.

As the kite flies, you’ll feel a pulsing at the end of your line while it spins above you like a mysterious, wind powered machine. It's easy to fly in a wide range of wind speeds, and the vertical ring acts like a stabilizing gyroscope making it rock-steady even in gusty winds. The magic of this unusual little kite will bring a smile to your face and stares of amazement wherever you fly.

• No assembly needed, folds flat for easy transport
• Eye-catching graphics come alive as it spins
• Incredibly stable even in gusty winds
• Super easy to fly

  • My first kite with moving parts!

Was looking for a kite with moving parts for when my grandson visits and this fit the bill! So colorful and fun to watch. The movement does cause the line to jerk so little ones need to be encouraged to hold on tight!

So far so so, it needs some serious winds sustained to create and use the Magnus effect for constant flight" i've had it up a few times but as soon as winds drop for 3 seconds so does the kite like a rock

I'm new to kite flying, and it took me a little while to get the hang of getting it up. Initially I didn't have the 2 pieces "locked" in place and it kept going flat. Once I figured that out by watching 2 videos, it went a lot better. In shifting winds I had to stay on my toes and tighten the line when the spinning stalled.

  • A lot of fun!

This is a real fun kite. It is totally different to anything else you may have flown. Everyone seems fascinated by it, wondering how it works. Feeling the pulsing of its rotation through the line is a very strange feeling. It needs no assembly at all, and flies easily, so is ideal to keep in the car for use at any time. Suitable for all ages, as the pull is very light. I wish there were a bigger one made.
