..but don't even try to hand-fly it in light winds. It's a beast. But it flies absolutely rock solid in winds from about 5 on up to 15. Even anchored I wouldn't fly it in more wind that that, you might never be able to get it down. The one downside is it's hard to find laundry that looks good with it because there're so many different patterns & colors in it. I considered 4 stars because of that, but it's sooo pretty & flies so well I had to go with 5.

This kite is huge, and has a pull to match, so it is not for children! It looks magnificent in the air, and is great for hauling up large items of line laundry. With the sun shining through it, the colours are amazing. Every colour is a separate piece of fabric - none of the pattern is printed. It's not cheap, but the work involved in making it is enormous. I would not try hand-flying mine in high winds, as I think I would be dragged away. But in lighter winds, or with a good anchor, it is great fun and looks fantastic. A wonderful design by Barbara Meyer, and great value as priced here.
